With winter coming on, I had been trying to figure out a way to get our 1973 Cessna Cardinal cleaned and waxed as there is only a single wash pad on the east side of Boeing Field and finding a place to get a good coat of wax on her is near impossible. As she unfortunately spends her days outdoors without the benefit of a warm hangar, a good wax job is her only protection and getting my owner/partners together, finding a place to do it, and doing it right is always a challenge.
Driving down I-5, I spotted your mobile detailing trailer and had my “copilot” write down your number. It proved to be a smart move. A short visit later to see our plane, and I had a very reasonable quote for a full interior and exterior cleaning/ wax/buff. You were able to schedule it for the following Saturday, and within in a week, our Cardinal was looking revitalized, renewed, and ready to fly faster with her shiny new outlook.
Your (family) crew came ready and fully equipped to take care of her right where she sat. No need for a near-by hose, a power outlet, to borrow a hangar ….or a 20-minute taxi. It was a superb job done at a very reasonable cost. She looks like the happiest plane on the line, even next to the biz jets and turboprops. I’ve thrown away our old buckets and wash rags as I can’t imagine doing our semi-annual cleaning and waxing any other way.
